PRODUCT INTRODUCTION

The most distinctive product among the Tropical Collections is the Taiwan Acacia. It shares similar characteristics as Hawaiian koa in the same Acacia genus. Hawaiian Koa was widely used for buildings for the royal families. Till this day, Hawaiian Koa is still the iconic decoration material used in its beach resort. Taiwanese acacia wood not only looks like Hawaiian Koa, but it also has higher Janka hardness (Taiwan Acacia, 2676; Hawaiian Koa, 1170) and carbon fixation capacity than Hawaiian acacia wood. In recent years, it has become one of the most stands out wood in the market.It has one of the most attention-grabbing specialty materials.
The heartwood of Taiwan Acacia is dark chestnut brown, and the sapwood is yellow to brown. The color of the sapwood is obviously different, and the growth rings are distinct. The wood is dense and hard, the color is beautiful, and the wood grain is unique. Acacia is also one of the most commonly used materials for guitar bodies for mid-to-high-end ukulele.
