Preservation of Historical Marks
Heart pine was mostly used as a building material, especially in churches and textile mills in 1900s. People worked together in a mill and gathered together in a church year after year. A hundred years passed, buildings are being taken down for reconstruction. Since these buildings had been part of the history, we decided to conserve all these meaningful wood and remake it into our products. When you see these beautiful floors, you see the history through the nail holes and marks on each board.
