🌪 In October 2005…
Hurricane Wilma had severely damaged lots of houses in #Florida and Everglades City Hall is one of them. After extensive #renovation and with the efforts from the State, and the County, City Hall has soon again resumed its #historic importance in the community by using the reclaimed new heart pine.
🏠The Grand “Restoration Celebration”
The renovation took place on January 27, 2007, just 15 months after the building had been condemned. An estimated 400 people, including a large number of dignitaries, witnessed the official re-opening of Everglades City Hall. 🎉🎉
Wood flooring is not just wood flooring, it can be the symbol of #rebirth and the remind of history that human beings have went through. 😌
